Opps, has it been that long since I last updated???? I canít believe it. Well I went to weight watchers last week and I stayed the same. Unfortunately, I could not go today because once again, the Blazer is out of commission. This time, itís the heater core. I figure that itís going to cost me between $300 Ė 500 to get it repaired. The next big repair is going to be a definite trade in. I figure pumping close to $1000 in the darn thing in two months is a little excessive. The sad thing is that I was going to pay it off this month. But with the added car expense, Iím going to have to pay it off in two months. Nothing drives me wilder than car repair. Getting back to WW, things are going good. No complaints. Iím having to pay more attention to what Iím eating because Iím going out to eat more but itís balancing out okay. There are healthier portions/meals out there but you have to look for them. Chris and I went out to Damonís last night (a Bar/Grill food chain) and the meal was absolutely horrible. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and it came breaded, fried, and the noodles came with Alfredo sauce. I ended up eating the chicken but I avoided the garlic bread and the noodles oozed in the sauce. I swear Iíll never go back there because they are so expensive and the food is actually crap. I didnít show any disappointment of course but I made a mental note of it.

Things have been pretty busy here. I havenít been home much. Carrie and Dennis are up at the cabin building their house and then mom and dad came up yesterday. They both will be up for a month. Then everyone will go home for a month and theyíll be up again in late June. Teresa was supposed to come up this weekend but a kid on her caseload died so those plans were scrapped. Iím thinking about going down there in two weeks for the Derby. I would love to see the Oaks Day the Friday before the Derby so weíll see. I need to get out of town for a few days and that would be the perfect opportunity. Itís good for me to take a couple of days here and there. Chris and I are going to Traverse City today for some exploring. It will be nice to spend some time with him because his schedule is so opposite of mine. He mainly works the later shift of 2 Ė 11 pm and Iím the classic 8 Ė 5 pm so we basically see each other twice a week. Things are going very good and Iím enjoying every moment that I have with him.

Everything else is pretty quite. Iím struggling with the 4 times a week at Curves because of my recent schedule, I have been averaging about 2 Ė 3 times a week. Thereís a real difference when I donít get my workout in. I can really tell. Iím hoping that things will calm down and that I could get back to 4 times a week. I just have to make time for it. My weight is staying about the same. I only have 15 or 20 more pounds to lose and then itís done with losing, then onto maintenance and that will present itís own challenges but Iím looking forward to it. Well, thatís it for me today, take care all-Kellie

Well, Iím down another 2 pounds! Thatís truly amazing. I have exactly 20.5 more pounds to lose until I hit goal week. Iím closing in the final stretch. I got some new body cream from Avon. Iíve been using the ďRe-fine Stretch Mark SmootherĒ and the ďSelf-Taut Cellulite Control GelĒ and these are some wonderful products. In just a week of use, my stretch marks are looking a heck of a lot better. I got the cream for $6 a piece so itís well worth it. I was using Niveaís product but in the twelve weeks worth of use, I saw no difference. But the Avon products, Iím seeing some nice results. I guess they have a new great product coming out in two weeks that will reduce and firm your thighs by 1Ē. I sure could take an 1Ē off my thighsÖhey, itís worth the $15 if it works.

I was in Lansing for training this week for work so I only got to hit Curves twice this week. It was four days of hell, learning about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Teens who are depressed. To me it was an academic technique that sounds good in the university setting but to directly implement it into my everyday work would be impossible because they just donít apply these theories to real life, outside of the office. I got back on Thursday so I figure that it was a botched week for working out. I did work out on the treadmill at the hotel a couple of times but itís still not Curves. Iíll hit it again on Monday. Iím not going to WW tomorrow because of the weather. At this time, western Michigan is being hit by a major ice storm and we have been pelted by layers of ice and I know I lost some weight this week too. Oh well, I might be able to hit a later meeting but as of right now, the roads are horrible, and its not advisable to go out. Itís been sleeting since this morning here. I had a half a day off work so it was nice to sleep in this morning and go into work at noon. I can deal with that.

Things are going great with Chris. Oh, Iím really enjoying myself. You guys would be proud of me, Iíve finally stopped analyzing the situation. Itís difficult but Iíve done it. I really like this guy and I just enjoy being around him. Iíve NEVER felt this way before. Itís a great feeling. The one thing Iíve learned too is that Iím not the one who is in control of the situation. Things just need to fall into place and Iím learning how to handle that. I actually went out and bought that ďMars and Venus on a Date BookĒ. Never in a million years would I have thought that I would buy that novel but guess what, I did, and some of the techniques are really working. Plus, it does shed some insight onto the male psyche. Iím taking it slow and enjoying every moment of this new relationship. Iím in a deep state of like right nowÖand I love it. Well thatís it for me tonight, take care all-Kellie
